Originally from Queensland, Australia, Ingrid’s pharmacy career in New Zealand began at Christchurch Hospital as a clinical pharmacist, prior to joining UMC Pharmacy. In Australia, Ingrid managed a pharmacy that specialised in natural health with their own in-house naturopath. She is passionate about helping people with their prescribed medicines as well as finding options for the use of natural health treatments, as applicable.
Ingrid has enjoyed her return to community pharmacy and learning additional skills such as providing vaccinations and warfarin monitoring. When not in the pharmacy, she enjoys her time on her lifestyle block with her husband and 2 children, where they raise sheep, calves and chickens.
